On OD’s latest release he has given us a fresh new sound to add to his growing catalogue of music. With smooth melodies permeating the core of this track and catchy punchlines OD seems to have reached a new level in his development from bar spitter to versatile song writer.  Off the back of numerous spotify playlist co signs such as “New Music Friday AU & NZ” “The Drip” and “The hybrid” OD has his sights set on being a hip hop mainstay in not only his native New Zealand but also on the global stage.

With a fire in OD’s belly “FROM 0” captures a mind set adopted by a young man hailing from a city oozing with opportunity. OD from the opening lyrics is setting a clear mood and feeling in the air setting a tone for the rest of the piece, OD opens with “The vibe is electric… They keep asking me what you gon do when you finally get it” encompassing the feeling of being a young up and coming artist trying to find their way in an ever evolving industry. What OD is expressing in “FROM 0” is not just the fact he is motivated and fired up to succeed in his passion but he is also giving an extremely personal account of the trials and tribulations one faces in his position.
